The Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) Battery Backup System (BBS) provides a low-cost, low-maintenance tool to guard service interruptions due to power failure. Offering four to eight hours of battery backup for the Adit® 600 and eight to twelve for Access Bank® I and II,Wide Bank® 28, and Access ExchangeTM, it is the ideal solution to boosting customer satisfaction. In the event of a power outage, the BBS supplies continuous -48 VDC power to the equipment being backed up. Normal AC operation will recharge the battery then switch to trickle-charging the sealed lead-acid batteries.
